Billions, one of our favorite shows, might be sadly coming to an end. We were excited to hear last month that Damien Lewis (Bobby Axelrod) would return to season 7 for a handful of episodes (season six wasn’t the same without him). Now, Dan Soder (who plays Mafee) appeared on NBC Sports Chicago’s Football Night in Chicago and let it slip that season 7 will be the last.
“You know… am I not supposed to say that? I don’t know if I’m supposed to say that. I think so. It’s fine,” he said.
“It doesn’t matter. You just said it,” Berman said in response.
“It’s the final season,” Soder replied.
Showtime has yet to comment if season 7 of Billions will truly be its last, and no release date has been announced yet for season 7.
